How we collect, use, and protect your information. Written in plain language.

What we collect

When you create a Nuuto account or subscribe, we collect your name, email address, delivery address, and payment details. Payment information is processed by our third-party payment provider and is not stored on our servers.

When you complete an at-home test, your sample is processed by an accredited partner laboratory. The resulting nutrient-level data is stored securely and linked to your account so that we can generate your personalised supplement recommendations.

We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, device type, and browser information to help us improve the website experience.

How we use your information

Your personal data is used to manage your subscription, process deliveries, and generate personalised supplement recommendations based on your test results.

We may use your email address to send service-related communications, such as order confirmations, test result notifications, and plan adjustment updates. Marketing communications are only sent with your explicit consent and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Aggregated and anonymised data may be used to improve our recommendation system. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers located in Sweden, within the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel who require it to operate the service. All staff with data access are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Test results and recommendation data are retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time.

You may also object to processing or request that we restrict how your data is used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the website functioning correctly. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent to help us understand how visitors use the site.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings or our cookie banner.

Third parties

We work with trusted third-party providers for payment processing, laboratory testing, and delivery logistics. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their specific service and are bound by data processing agreements.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
